Struggle for existence in materialism

0:05Nidrayā hriyate naktaṁ vyavāyena ca vā vayaḥ, yeah. divā cārthehayā rājan kuṭumba-bharaṇena vā. This is the business of the ordinary people: to sleep at night, either sleep or in their sex life.

Fallibility of worldly family protection

1:24Dehāpatya-kalatrādiṣv ātma-sainyeṣv asatsv api. Teṣāṁ nidhanaṁ pramattaḥ paśyann api na paśyati. Dehāpatya- kalatrādiṣu: this body, apatya... Apatya means children. Dehāpatya-kalatrādi and wives and etc., kalatrādiṣu.

2:11Ātma-sainyeṣu. They are considered as soldiers. This is a battlefield and everyone is fighting. And the karmīs, they are thinking, "They are my soldiers." This, my body, my wife, my children, my friends, my country.

2:48Dehāpatya-kalatrādiṣv ātma-sainyeṣu, in this life. People are concerned. If I am in danger, my wife is there, my children are there, my friends are there, my country is there. Fighting requires soldiers.

3:10So they are considered soldiers, the fighting living entity.

Inevitability of death and illusion

3:17Teṣāṁ nidhanaṁ pramattaḥ paśyann api na paśyati. But he is seeing that his soldiers are dying. But he is so mad that even if he sees, even though he is seeing, he doesn't see it.

3:38He sees that, uh, there was my father and they died, they could not protect me. So I am trying to get help from others or I'm trying to give help to others so that they may be saved. But death is so cruel, nobody is saved.

4:07Teṣāṁ nidhanaṁ pramattaḥ paśyann api na paśyati. Nidhanam means destruction.

4:13Paśyati, although he is seeing where everyone is dying in my whole family members, and for whom I am so much friendly, they have to die, I have to die. This is not the process of protection.

4:31Deha-apatya-kalatra-ādiṣv ātma-sainyeṣv. Asatsv api teṣāṁ pramattaḥ nidhanaṁ paśyann api na paśyati. Pramattaḥ, rūpeṇa matta. Matta means just like when a drunk, he forgets himself and talks and filters similarly.

Spiritual solution to material suffering

6:25The best thing is to somehow or other to remain fixed up that I am eternal servant of Krishna. Let me accept Krishna as far as possible and He, He gives me protection when I am safe. Otherwise I am after.

6:50He gives protection to His servant, to His... He gives protection to everyone, especially to the devotees. This protection means to save him from the cycle of repeated birth and death. Sva-rāṭ parāt-paraḥ.
