0:25Dear devotees from Slovenia, please accept my humble obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada.

0:32I was asked to say a few words about the importance of Srila Prabhupada's marathon and distribution of Srila Prabhupāda's books.

0:42Actually, it's not possible to describe the utmost importance of this process because the whole civilization, according to the words of Srila Prabhupada himself, is misguided.

1:00And this misguided civilization is in a very difficult situation now. The condition of the world is much worse today than they were when Srila Prabhupada was on the earth.

1:18Even then they were alarmingly bad but now it's worsened many many times uh more and uh we know that practically uh for the first time in the history of humanity, we are on the brink of nuclear war.

1:40And even if nuclear war will not happen, then anyway, the whole humanity, the whole human civilization is on the path of self-destruction. Everything is being destroyed now.

Spiritual solutions to modern material problems

1:56Starting with the subtle human nature, the moral principles, the social fabric of the society, the family structure, economy is totally in shambles, uh there is social unrest and the whole environment is practically destroyed.

2:23So Śrīla Prabhupāda coined the phrase spiritual solution to material problems and his books provide this key to the humanity, to misguided humanity.

2:37And the more vigorously we preach the message of Krishna consciousness described by Srila Prabhupada, the better chances people have to understand how to solve the immense problems which they are facing now.

3:02So I'm eternally grateful to all of you for distributing this message in difficult conditions.

3:12It's always very difficult to preach in the atheistic environment, and the environment in the earth is always predominantly atheistic no matter how people call themselves, to which religious denomination they formally attribute themselves.

Participating in Lord Chaitanya's eternal mission

3:38But in any case, uh I'm just very grateful to you and uh definitely Śrīla Prabhupāda is very grateful.

3:47And by distributing his books, we're becoming the part of the worldwide scheme, the plan of Lord Chaitanya, which he had in mind when 500 years ago he was conducting his līlās on this earth.

4:09So by distributing the books of Śrīla Prabhupāda, becoming a part of the eternal līlā of Lord Caitanya.

4:17And uh then in the very natural and spontaneous way we will be transformed into the realm where his līlās and līlās of Lord Krishna are being held eternally.

4:33So thank you very much again and I wish you all success and a lot of enthusiasm and joy in uh being engaged in this very glorious service and let the goals which you uh set for yourself be achieved.
