Expressing gratitude on Nityananda Trayodasi
Rama Hare Hare, Harekista. I am very happy to have this opportunity to speak in front of all of you on this very auspicious Nityānanda Trayodaśī Day.
Blessings of Sri Man Sri Kirti Prabhu Sri Kirti Prabhu Rashribati to be able to say something. Ah and of course blessings of all of you, please.
So I'm also very grateful to Mata Jadevaki for inviting me here for this convention. If it was not for her insistence I would never come here.
Russia is big enough and there is enough devotees and preaching going on, so I I would not come to Bangladesh but because of your l loving insistence I was I felt that I'm bound to go.
She tethered me with, uh, the bhakti-mata's sapta-sūtra pitah dhyām̐oke kāna śabda gurichi. She bound me with the rope of her love and dragged me here. And I was like a cow. I was helpless. Cow cow for them.
So here I am and you can milk me. Oma Gyanatuam, Gyanam djana Salaya, Chaksuruna Litamina, Tasmah Shri Gurave Maha, Sri Chaitannobish Tam, Stapi Tamjable, Swayamruhem Dadati Sva

Lord Nityananda as embodiment of compassion
Yon tah Pravishya Mamavati Mimam Prasuptaam Sandjivayata Kila Shakti Darah Swadamna anjamatva garim, pranannamobhagavati purusha dubbi.
So we're celebrating today the appearance day of Lord Nityananda who is the original guru of the universe.
Twaskay Umra Srimanitan Dabur Abirbhapti Udjapankochi Jini A Shomasta Bishabramandir Guru Dotti Adhar And it's very appropriate to
start this conventional festival of compassion by celebrating him because he is the manifestation of compassion. Everyone in this world is suffering because of one reason.
Srila Jivagaswami in his Bhakti Sandharba starts his analysis of the reason why everyone is suffering here.
Saying that everyone is suffering here because of one reason, because everyone turned away from the service of God. Then you won a crucifokurse karon jeep thar shot muke natike bimukh but bipote Tara Pritalith.
Yeah, everyone is Bahirmuka or Vimukkha. Shavai Bhirmu Babimuko echi Krishna Tha and without the service which is the natural function of the living entity, nobody can become happy.
So the Lord Himself comes for this very reason. He comes to teach us how to serve. Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvati Thakur Prabhupada wrote that it's only absolute who can teach how to serve absolute.
Bhaktisiddhanta Sashithagur Likin Jishikorum Tattoy Amadirke Janatepare Kivashi Porum Tatashiva Kurteha. He says that the ordinary jiva cannot teach how to serve the absolute.
And therefore the absolute, the absolute truths, paramtatva, has to come to this world to give these teachings.
If it was not for the mercy of the Supreme Lord who comes here to teach us how to serve, nobody would be able to do it.
To age it she polam to Babhogobane Kripa Amadirup, Abe Borshito Naho, to the tini Niji Amadke, A Shikadevin, Tahole Amra Kochonotare Kripa Prapto Damna. Nobody would be able to do it properly in a proper mood.
What does it mean to serve? Of course we know that everyone is anyway serving in this world. But at the same time everyone is serving having something in mind, I will get something in return for my service.
Nobody can understand that the service itself is the reward for one's service. That we have to strive for service, not for reward, not for something external in regard to service.
Sheba Prokito Kotehole Tarti Dani Shabiamra Purushrit Proshrito Howar Pratashakara Uchitna. And therefore Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Lord Nityananda Prabhu coming here to teach us this truth.
And Lord Nityananda, They are coming here to teach us this very difficult science of uh completely selfless service to the Supreme Lord.
And therefore therefore Lochan das Thakur in this bhajan starts this bhajan saying Parama Karuna that they are the Supremely Merciful. Yeah, this is the most merciful avatar out of all the avatars of the Supreme Lord.
Everyone, when the Lord comes here, it's the manifestation of his mercy, nothing else. But if we want to understand the highest limit
Misunderstandings surrounding various divine incarnations
of the mercy, we have to really think If the Jakoniamra Shikoruna Sharbutam store Shetarjinda Gorbo, the Konshikane, Shiman Chaitanya Ma Prabhu Nitananda Purhur Bishai When
the Lord comes here in this material world, it's very difficult to understand how this is the manifestation of His mercy. People tend to misunderstand when the Lord comes in the form of fishing. Generator connection.
Indrajay, Karna generated the subhandha. Generated Dhawai. Oh, man is busted but now Hoguman cannot come And it's very difficult. Yesterday we celebrated Varahat vardes.
It's very difficult to understand when the Lord comes in the form of a boar. Most of the people in this world they have a problem with this concept that God can come here in this earth.
But if you tell them that the god comes in the form of a boar, uh they will be little bewildered. If you tell a Muslim that God comes in the form of a boar you may not survive after that.
But God comes in the form of a boar because this is his mercy, he wants to uplift us from the dirt where we are.
Serving and forming friendship with Krishna
The form of a borre is very suitable because the borre is always kind of juh is engaged in some dirty places so he's coming here in this form to uplift us from the dirt. But for people it's very difficult to understand. Therefore the Lord comes as Krishna. And he says in his avatar of Krishna, he says very clearly what he wants
from us, what he expects from us. He says in Bhagavad-gītā what he wants, what he expects from the human being. Baktosime sakacheti. And he says, Rahasiamaatat Uttamam, this is the highest secret.
You have to become bhakta or servant, and you have to be sakha, you have to manifest some This is uh our mission. That's what we are supposed to be.
We have we are supposed to become Bactas or servants of the Lord, and at the same time we're supposed to become uh sakas or friends of the Lord. So I'm the Ashul Hai Bhagavaner Bhakto Hauti Bhagavan Bondu
Hautip But he says it's very difficult to understand. Even Krishna himself says, Rahasiam Eva atat Uttamam, this is the highest secret which I am revealing to you.
Kintu, Tiniporovati Bolchina Isloka, Itaku Brahusha Jana Karon, Itakubhi Gudchadto. Krishna comes and gives his Upadesh, his teachings to all the living entities, but who understood them.
Who became Bhakta or want to speak about becoming Sakov of the Supreme Lord after Krishna appeared on this earth. Nobody. Bhaktu? Shetakub Shetakub Arun Notubapar.
Very few people understood this message of Krishna, message of Bhagavad-gītā. If you ask ordinary people what Bhagavad-gītā is all about, they will say it's about karma-yoga. yoga.
Shadaran Manushrithi Balahai, Bhagavad Gita Ghi, Talebolvaita Karma Joga. Or sometimes say it's about Ashtanga Yoga or about jñāna-yoga.
Shankaracharya explained Bhagavad-gītā and explains the message of Bhagavad-gītā is that you have to merge in the Brahman. Shankar Jaju Bonuna Golachin Bhagavad Gita Totohoche Sheta Brhume Leanweja I I spoke once with um
And uh we were speaking about Bhagavad-gītā. And he's from Brahminical family, he's Mr. Shukla, so he's from Brahmin Brahminical background, so to speak. Mr. Sukla Tini uh Brahman Puribarteshitin.
And uh you know he was he started saying me about his understanding of Bhagavad-gītā. That Bhagavad-gītā is about you know you have to you have to fight for your own mother motherland.
Basically h his understanding of Bhagavad-gītā was y you have to become politician.
I said wait a second, but at the very end of Bhagavad-gītā when Krishna wants to say something very important, he says Sarvadan Parityja Mamekam Saranam Raja. You said that.
No, I said, yeah, I said that at the very Bhagavad Gita Shishadik It's not an you know he's saying this that Bhagavad Gita is about following your dharma that f following your duty very dutifully, this and that that that was his point.
And I said, but uh wait a second, you know, and the very end Krishna says discard all your dharmas, just surrender unto me. Amagabende Bhagavad Gita Jarja Kurtu Busheta Shampadan Karata Che Bhagavad Gita Shika.
To Amibalam Tikache acceptan Dari Goro, Amibalchi, Bhagavad Gita Shish Dikha, Bhagavan Balchan Sharbu Dharman Pulta Jamak And he said to me, really? He did say this? I don't believe it.
I will check at his Ami at a check for the What
I want to say is that Krishna gave this upadesh, Krishna gave this teaching, but who understands these teachings? Who understands that Krishna wants us to serve and serve without any other considerations, discarding all other duties just to serve him? Who understands this?
Purpose of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu taking devotee mood
Jara Itabod Shomosto Kurtobo Purita Kore Tar Shibai Lishartohabe Bijuto.
And therefore the God the Supreme Truths, the Supreme Personality of Godhead has to come again as Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to teach people this truth by accepting the mood of bhakta. Ah Dar Paravati Vish, Bhagavan Sri
Krishna Pare, Chaitanya Mahaprabhutehai, Dithini, Bhaktivhabe, Tarsi Vishwata, Jatishikaditab God Himself with all His powers are coming here just to teach us that you know even He is hankering to take the position of the servant because this is the highest position that even the God himself.
The meaning of Lord Chaitanya's incarnation and this verse is to prove that service is the highest, that even God wants to experience what service means because service gives the highest bliss.
Jeky Anundav Hagavan Shebakola Jekhamman Anundalake, Sid Nijevata Sadhangai no, Bhagavan Nije, Shivok Munavni, Dashishabatini Yogata Abibutahway, Hogaman Shiva Korasha Anund So it says in this
bhajan by Lochindastakur, Parama Ananda Kanda, they are coming to manifest the highest limit of ananda of bliss. The Hajan Wallace Poromo and on the condo, and it at Sharbutam and on the store.
By and they experience this place by serving, by serving God. Uh but even when God Himself listened very carefully because now I'm coming to the real topic of this lecture.
Even when Chaitanya Mahrabhu comes in this avatar taking the mood of bhakta, hardly any Mahaprabhu Jakon Bhakto Bishikana Ashin Takon Tar Bhavo Onikabusta.
Very few people in Bengal when Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was manifesting his amazing pastimes, could really understand that this is God Himself who is coming to teach us what we are supposed to do in this world.
Basically, basically Bengal in the beginning, the whole Bengal in the beginning rejected Lord Chaitanya. Besidbag Manusi Chetano Mahaprabhuchila. He himself said it, and therefore he took sannyās and went to Puri.
So many people offended him and blasphemed him and uh you know were saying not nice things about Lord Chaitanya.
And therefore he said, "I I better take sannyās because at least people at least pay some external respect towards sannyasis.
God Himself comes here to give us the highest truth and highest understanding of our relationship with him and uh people because of being
Essential role of Nityananda in Mahaprabhu mission
bahir-mukha, they they couldn't understand him, the Bhagavān satajama the sambalko even bhagavan jila Our envy towards the Lord is so deeply rooted within our heart that it's very difficult to accept that we have to become his servants.
So the mission of this avatar uh of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu almost failed if it was not for Sri Nityananda Prabhu.
Mahaprabhu disha sita bhotti like sita uh beastwaterjodi Srimanitana prover Avibab Nagot it's actually a great rahasya great secret which we have to understand.
It's Sri Nitananda Prabhu who made Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu what he is now in one sense.
Then you put this ananda Prabhu, it was him who preached the glory of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu so far and wide and with such a vigour that not a single person would be able to misunderstand who is Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
And he was manifesting so much ananda in preaching the glories of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu that everyone in Bengal was infected by this ananda of Sri Nity Ananda Prabhu.
Therefore, as I said, God Himself has to take the position of the servant of the servant. God Himself has to take the position of the spiritual master to teach us this difficult science of devotional service.
I will try to speak a few pastimes of Lord Nityānanda in uh and in these past times he manifested his supreme spirit, totally unreserved spirit of service to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
As we know, Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu manifested himself in Rāḍhadeśa, twelve years before the manifestation of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. In Rāḍhadeśa. In Rāḍhadeśa, yes. In Atachakra. Before Chaitanya Purit.
Twelve years before. Chaitanya Prabhu... Nityānanda Prabhu. Nityānanda Prabhu. Most of the, uh, associates of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu are coming here from East Bengal from Bangladesh. So you are all the relatives.
You're very fortunate. So buggy. Uh, but, uh, Śrīnītānanda Prabhu, he appeared in Rāḍhadeśa with people are uh usually impious because uh Ganga is not flowing there in Radadesh. I should love this, yeah.
So you don't know, um, Nityānanda Prabhu, Ekacakrā. Jekane Gonga Prabhama Man non Shaitan knows In this way from the very beginning of his manifestation he showed his mission.
His mission is to liberate the most fallen, the most impious people. Shop ticket around the vote papi taderke put.
And for twelve years before the manifestation of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, he was manifesting his childhood pastimes in Ekacakrā-grām. But as soon as Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu appeared on this earth
And Nityānanda Prabhu, of course, within his heart knew it, he realized it's time for me to start my mission.
Śrīnityānanda Prabhu was dearly loved by his parents, Hāḍāi Paṇḍit, Hāḍāi Ojhā Paṇḍit and his mother Padmāvatī. He was such a loving child that everyone in
this village was totally completely in love with Śrīnityānanda Prabhu. Bhati Tadir Shantan Atini Grameshakoli Ato Priya Chilan Kubibalobasharajan Patrasha Bhalavasar Patthavatini
Chilen Kendra Bindhishab Chilen Only villages they loved Nityananda Prabhu more than their own sons. And they were playing beautiful pastimes of Lord Krishna in their childhoods with his friends.
And they were so much immersed into this pastimes of Lord Krishna that sometimes they would not come home you know for many many many hours they would not come home uh even at night you know because they were so immersed in Krishna's pastimes.
And usually when children don't come home in time for dinner, don't come home, you know, in time, parents become worried or agitated or uh they're not they don't like it.
They come and call, come, come home, come home, come home. But in Ekacakrā-grām, everyone, every parent, they knew my son is playing with Nityananda. It means that he is in the right hands. Better him play than come home.
Bisha Chilabhindo. Y Tara Jogan Nittananda Pushate Kalakotto Tadir Pitamatara Chaitana Jamashanthan Badita Firyasu Khari Firyasu. Itaravaktu Nittananda Shatakalakotchi of Haluata Jaigaya Nityananda
Prabhu was so happy in Eka Chakra Gram because he had such a loving relationship with all the villagers. His father loved him so much that he would not go anywhere without Nityananda Prabhu.
And when the villagers would see the pastimes of Lord Nityananda, they would be totally amazed. Halubastan Take Chara Koto Jetena, Ebungram Bashira Atoi Takev Halobashtan the Tarakokanovtei Parin and itchara.
Once they were playing play and all their plays was about Krishna and pastimes of Krishna and once they were playing the play uh how a how akrura came to vrindavan
and took Krishna a To Vivina Krishna Lila Vishwatara, Kaladula Gotto, Hakota Kivaga Okur Eshe, Krishna K brindavan the King Negalen e Lilata.
And uh Nityananda Prabhu being a small boy he was playing a part of gopi, of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. And when Akrura took away Krishna, uh and he was trying to take away Krishna. Nityānanda Prabhu manifested such a grief.
He was crying and crying and crying and he was rolling in the dust. And he was you know he was so immersed in this lila that nobody could understand how he could do it.
All the villagers they started all the villagers from this Eka Chakra Gram, they also started crying by seeing how Nityānanda Prabhu was crying.
Nitananda Bruganda De Krundan DeKey Shomosto Gramba Shira Grundangar Surugait. Everyone felt so much love towards Krishna by seeing how Nityananda Prabhu loves them that they forgot themselves.
Nittananda Prabhupada Krishna Pratija Bhalavasa Decay Shawar Krishna Pratisha Bhalavasa Bhages Tara Krandan Karas and when Nithyananda Prabhu
would look at anyone, then everyone would feel something strange is happening in my heart. I feel so much love for Krishna.
Takai, Takunse, Kichuata Onuhab Koranji, Kichuata Gotcha Bitore, Eun Krishna Brotheta Tibro atta Malovashavakos on Onuhabotchi.
Request of the sannyasi to Hadai Pandit
But despite of being so happy in this village in in his life and in this relationship, as soon as he understood that my Prabhu, my lord, appeared in this earth, he decided to leave this village.
Gramir Shakular Attor Atov Halavashar Bandhan Shakteu Tini Jagan Bustapal and Jama Shiprahu Yagata Vidputhachan Takantini She Gram Puritapan.
He is teaching us that uh for the sake of the service of the Lord we have to be ready to give up everything. This is the meaning of Sarvadharman Parityajamakam Saranam Of
course, no the pastime which he performed, he would not be able to leave himself and therefore one very beautiful sannyasi visited a kachakra gram.
To Shajito Aka Grampurtakote Parvana Jano Agjon Shunashi Tar Gram Domangoteshilan and because Hadai
Pandi the father of Nityananda Prabhu was such a uh cultured and uh intelligent and educated brāhmaṇa he accepted uh and he invited uh his uh the sannyasi to his home and he would uh host him and uh you know and was serving him very nicely
And uh uh few days they spent with each other by discussing Lord Krishna's pastimes. Krishna Bhivan Nalila Shraddhore Tara At
the end, uh Hadai Pandit said if you have before this Sannyasi was about to leave this village uh and then Hadai Pandit said, if you have any desire please tell me, I will fulfill all your desires. What do you want?
You want some money, you want something? I I will be so happy to serve you. Say Griha Puritak Karara Gagram Puritak Kararage, Nitananda Prabhupita Haipon Nitsay, Shanashikashakolin Jay Ana Jichu Prayjan Hayapni And
this Sanyas said, Yes, you can fulfill one might desire, it's a small desire. I need some assistant kudra ti manovashana. Yeah, I need some assistant.
I'm going on pilgrimage, somebody should wash my clothes and and I need some nice Brahman assistant. Brahman Kuri Amar on a Kichapurishkartiha Yamakashodig. Just give me your son. And I'll teach him everything, don't worry.
Sure. Hadaipandi it felt as if the thunderbolt struck in his head. He said he was thinking, you know, I I can't I can't give Nita S but I can't refuse Rapunhapchin Ami Nitaike Puritta Kota Bhatsina Ah
Sonasir Kotatao Ami Amipurita Kota Batchina He felt so much pain in his heart, but at the same time he felt how can I refuse this and I have to do it.
He started thinking about Dasharat and he remembered this scene from Ramayana when Vishwamitramuni came to Dasharat's palace. And when Vishwamitramuni asked, please give me your son, I'll take my son I'll take your son.
And Dasharat Maharaj at that point he fainted because he couldn't even imagine that he would bear the separation with his son. And he felt he has to do the same with Nityānanda Prabhu.
He said if if I don't do this, my whole life will be ruined. And he came and and he said I have to ask his mother, I have to ask my wife, Padmawati Devi.
And when when he came to Padmawati Devi and he said our only son, little Nitai, this sannyāsī wants to take him away. What shall I say to him? To strike Bolenia Madrak Matraputro the caseonasi need to chan and uh You
can imagine what she felt when she heard. But she said I will accept whatever you decide.
Departure of Nityananda Prabhu from Ekachakra
Anyway it's uh it's a very sad story. The whole village. Everyone this this news that Nita is being taken away from Auraka Chakra Gram, this news spread like forest fire. Everyone to keep near.
Everyone started crying Everyone started cursing this sannyāsī. Everyone was saying, you know, it's it's how where did this sannyāsī appeared from? Who he is?
And some villagers they started saying please take our sons, don't take Nimai Nitai. This Nitai, he he's so small, he doesn't know how to wash clothes. My son is better in washing clothes. Take my son.
And somebody was saying I have five sons, take my five sons, but leave ni tie. But it was too late. Hintu kubderyati.
Sannyāsī took Nidai by hand and despite of all this crying he took Nitai and Nidai was very happily following this sannyāsī.
And uh his mother she couldn't bear the separation so she ran away and she was following this sannyāsī with his uh with her little son. And then sannyāsī took a little mūrti of Murlidar of Krishna from his bag.
That Sunasi bigger. Yeah, and gave it to her. Krishna Tastake Berkolland. And he said this is my benediction. Whenever you will look at this Krishna you will see your little nitai. And your heart will be pacified.
And she looked at this mūrti and the face of this mūrti and she saw, this is nitāi, nitāi, my nitāi. So she embraced this mūrti and went home. But Hadai Pandit, he stood there, he couldn't move.
He felt as if the life itself left his heart. Then you have Curtilenta Brand Tattakulegati. For three months he was just standing without moving, without sleeping, without eating, only crying. This was his condition.
And basically the condition of the whole village because nobody could live in this village. The whole village became empty.
So Areikarone she aka chakra gram should no hoyota shoteparani when uh Jahnewamata brought the first group of pilgrims to Kachakra Gram to the place where her husband was born.
She found that the whole village is empty. Nobody is there. Only one old man told her this story about this and everything and he said you know this this whole village was finished after Nitai left this village.
Pilgrimage across India awaiting divine order
And as we know, I have to make the story short,
as we know Nityānanda Prabhu he was traveling in all holy places, he was traveling the whole Bhārata from Kanyākumārī to Vṛndāvana to Himalayas, he visited all the holy places with this sannyāsī.
And he was waiting within his heart when my Prabhu, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, will start his mission of distributing this love of God.
As we know, Nityānanda Prabhu his specialty, his avatāra is to come to distribute love of Godhead to everyone.
To lowest, highest, without any discrimination, to every, you know, every the most fallen people in this world. But he didn't do it. He didn't preach until Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu started his preaching in Navadvīpa.
Kinto Navadvi Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Jatakon a prechar dharake. For twenty years he was traveling all over Bhāratavarṣa, traveling through all the holy places, sitting in Vṛndāvana, he didn't preach even once.
Even once he didn't start the congregational chanting of the holy name. He was waiting, when my Prabhu, my Lord, will give me order Agi, then only I will be able to do it. That's his devotion to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
And as we know he was in Vrindavan when he felt in his heart that Sri Chaitanya Mahabrabhu appeared in this world.
And he was sitting in Vrindavan at Rādhā-kuṇḍa and he was very happy there in Vrindavan because in Vrindavan he was in the mood of a small boy.
All the local people they loved Nityānanda Prabhu because he was I mean he was he was an old man uh not old man, he was thirty-two years old at that time, but he was behaving like a small boy.
He was sometimes going naked and sometimes he was playing in some mud or in some sand in Vrindavan. And he was very innocent and he was smiling and people were so happy to have him there.
But then when he felt within his heart now it's time for me to go to Navadvīpa, he immediately left from Vrindavan.
We know that that Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu he went to Gaya for his pilgrimage for his uh for his śrāddha ceremony for Jagannātha Miśra. And there in Gaya he received the mercy of Iśvara Purī. He got initiation from Iśvara Purī and uh amazing transformation immediately Again he is teaching us the supreme dependence on uh on the highest authorities. You know he's the Lord Himself.
But He before manifesting His love of God He has to take initiation from a guru from Iśvara Purī. Jodiya Tini Paramishra Bhagavan Param Toto the Tarpuryo E Taruddhishurukara Age Takyodikagrun Gotti Holo Sharpuri Padas And
with this love in his heart he came back to Navadvīpa and started distributing this love to everyone whom he met.
Shakhat Kuratiland Arkastica Bhakti Prapto Chilen Bhagavat Bhakti Bhagavat Prain Shetatarpur Tiny Shaparan Gorashurikulmu and
uh uh very soon, just few days later, he just just a few days uh after that Nityānanda Prabhu also arrived to Navadvīpa.
Expression of complete dedication to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu
The Chitana Projacon Fear Ellen air correct din porre nitan on the Pruhu Navadvi.
And uh you know our time is very short, so I will not be able to tell but I I will tell you couple of pastimes which actually sh sh show the complete dedication of Nityananda Prabhu to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
Your dear Shu Mike, Bashine Tarpado, and Kaikta, Nittananda Prabhupada, Tini Jebhabe, Chaitana Pur, Pratishiba, Shulva Korrechin, Shetar Khakti, Taini Hulu.
Nityānanda Prabhu, he's our avadhūta, so he's doing whatever he likes. He is sometimes behaving in a very strange way, you know, discarding all the rules and regulations of this world.
The very word avadhūta means avadhūta. Ava means far away ava and dhūta means dhūta means taking bath cleaning oneself to Avumane Dure Dutmane Snankara Mane Yeah Avadut means the somebody who doesn't take snan when he gets up basically. So you know he Avadot means he doesn't follow even the basic principles of life.
In a such high uh platform of spiritual realization that he is not dependent on any rules. And we know sometimes he behaved in a very strange way, you know, sometimes he would he would go naked. The bibindo have no longer.
And he was quite grown up by that time, you know. And people would sometimes be very embarrassed, you know, somebody's walking naked, you know, what's wrong with him.
But if Chaitanya Mahaprabhu would tell him you better dress up, he would immediately dress up. Sometimes Nityananda Prabhu would embarrass Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Prabhu uhdidhaten.
You know, sometimes we know sometimes Nityananda Prabhu being in such an ecstasy, uh he would jump into river Ganges, especially if he would see the crocodile and he would jump on the crocodile and he would start preaching to crocodile please chant Hare krishna, buji. As if there is nobody else whom he could preach.
And all the all the associates of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu were totally worried, you know. What is he doing? This other he's jumping and you know playing with crocodiles.
And they were trying to hold him out somehow rather to drag him out of this water, but he would not batch, he would not do it. He Take Jolte Utah But
if Chaitanya Marabu Mahaprabhu would say, please come out from Ganges, stop it, he would immediately do it. He was showing that uh you know I'm the bidding servant of my Prabhu.
Offering Vyasa Puja garland to Mahaprabhu
There is this famous story in Chaitanya Bhagavad how Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was celebrating Vyasa Puja of Nityananda Prabhu. And uh uh you know there was a very joyful
celebration, they put Nityananda Prabhu on a special, uh, asana and they would do abhishek of Nityananda Prabhu because, uh, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu himself said, you know, let's celebrate, he is the Guru, he is all of our Guru, and let's celebrate this.
And they were chanting the holy name and doing abhishek of Nityananda Prabhu. So Chaitanya Mahaprabhupada and Bashana Babivino Haival Chinanapuchinama de Guru Tar Bash Pujakab, Shop Kutini, Nidas Dilan Muksajan Holo, Bashashana.
And everyone was very happy. And then everyone was chanting Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Ram Hare Ram Ram Ram Hare And at
came to Nityananda Prabhu and said, now it's the time, it's auspicious time for you as a came to Nityananda Prabhu and said, now it's the time, it's auspicious time for you as a
representative of Śrīla Vyāsadeva to honor him. Please take this garland and put it on Śrīla Vyāsadeva. Okay. Sriving. Sivas Pondjakan, the provocation ball and Kendrabin Duakon, Apni Malatani, Bash Dever Protani Dishava And
And Nityānanda Prabhu said, Yes, yes, I will do it. And he took this garland. And he's standing there with this garland without moving. And everyone is looking at him and nobody understands what's going on.

Whenever she would see him she would feel like the milk was dripping from her breast because she felt so much affection, motherly affection towards Lord Nitananda.
Decton, Yodanyolo Bolo Chilendavun, Tarji Matrishulob ji Bhalobasha Sheta Shetabaktohoto, Tarston Takedugto Horitohoto.
And she said in my dream I saw yourself and Nityananda Prabhu like small children, like five-year-old boys. And both of you were playing in our house and were running here and there and were fighting with each other and pulling ears of each other and I was very happy to see how you're fighting with each other.
But then all of a sudden I saw how both of you run to our little temple room in our little mandir in our home kalakotecoteama
and very soon you came out from this temple room and you were holding the murti of Lord Balaram and Nityananda was holding the murti of uh Lord Krishna.
And Chetanamaprugamatan to me, Balodame Murtidharam Korachile, are Nittanam do Krishna Murtidharam Kurchila.
And you were running with this Murtis and uh you were quarrelling at the same time, you were fighting with this Murtis, with Krishna and Balaram.
I heard like Balaram was saying, you know, who you are, who you think you are, you know, you this this Who you think you are? You think this home belongs to you? This home belongs to us, to Krishna and Balaram.
We are the owners of this home, you know, you are imposters, you are just you're just pretenders. Get out of here. This is our home.
And at that point, she said, Mata Shachi said to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Nityananda Prabhu said, it's not us who are imposters, you are imposters.
Nityananda Prabhu said your time is over. All this business which you are doing, stealing the butter and yogurt, it's over, it's finished. We will not allow you to do this nonsense anymore.
Are you gonna go to Mata Dhavana Kika A Dustum Gotta Dhavana nonsense? You think you live here and everything belongs to you? You are wrong. And and Krishna and Balaram very b Balaram he he he's saying,
you know, this is wrong if you if you're doing this, how you can do this? I will complain to Krishna and Krishna will show you who is who is God?
And uh and then Nittananda Prabhu as a small boy in a dream of Madasachi said, Who is this Krishna?
Takon Takon Nittananda Prabhu Jake Shi Chotravasta Balogrube Sotimata Decilan Kinitokon Jigeshaken ji Krishnu Ketaw I have my master here and I do whatever he will tell me and he tells me to drag him away and you know Gauranga. I'm not afraid of your Krishna because Gauranga is my master.
And Sachidevi said I was very surprised what's going on, why you're quarreling
so much with each other and why he's saying this about And then she said that uh after quarrelling Nityananda Prabhu all of sudden st in in her dream started crying mother mother please give me some food. For the issue, Tini took Mahaprabhu to Kondan Gore, Mahagole, Amakutpan Guru, Etabol, Sabnus. And Sajimata asked Goranga Mahaprabhu, you know, can you explain to me the meaning of this dream? I don't understand what's going on.
And Gauranga Mahaprabhu said yes it means that Nityananda Prabhu is hungry and he wants you to cook for him Anyway,
but the meaning of this dream is of course that Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is the Lord Himself and now it's the time whenhen uh everyone has to distribute love of God still butter so

He would only say Goranga Goranga Sri Krishna Chaitanya Sri Krishna Chaitanyaindamanda Stakabanaka Namonki Sapsumai. Yamanki Shop new Tini Gurangova Sri Krishna Thaitan no A Nam Kritan Shopsumai Koten.
Yeah, he was and I will I will round my lecture by saying what what happened. You know for as I said for twenty years Nityananda Prabhu was traveling in uh throughout the holy places in uh Bharat Varsha.
Then he came to Navadvip and he was staying for two years in Navadvip with Sri Chaitanya Mahabrabhu. Du botho Navadvi Jetanama Prabhu Shati Chilen.
Then after two years when Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu took Sannyas and moved to Puri Nityananda Prabhu was accompanying him there in Puri. And he was staying there in Puri with Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, spreading his glory all over the place.
Everywhere he would walk and he would only say Caitanya Caitanya Caitanya Mahāprabhu and he would glance on the people and would people get his glance of Nityānanda Prabhu they would feel complete total love towards Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
They are notampur Natar at Onuhuti Purivotan Hotoebum Chitana Mahaprabhu Titar Halavasha Tibbra Kurshanubaku.
You know, the whoever would get the merciful glance, like like Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura he says, Hāhā Prabhu Nityānanda Premānanda Sukhī Kṛpā Bolo Kanakoro Amiboroduki.
Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura says, please give me your merciful glance so that I would also become happy. So whenever on whomever Nityānanda Prabhu would look, he would become totally completely happy immediately.
He was spreading the love of Lord Gaurāṅga just by looking at people. Mahaprabhu Bauranga Mahaprabhu J Mahima Tini Pracharka Chilen Sudumatra Agjana Prath Dishtipatkar.
And just by chanting his holy name, Gaurāṅga, Gaurāṅga, Gaurāṅga. Namjakurar Madame Goranga Guranga Goranga. Gauranga!
Gaurāṅga! Jagannātha Purī became the followers of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, everyone, because of Nityānanda Prabhu. And Nitananda Prabhu Janai Puridhamed Shabai Chaitana Mahaprabhu Sharan Gotha Surukolan.
And then for 14 months when Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was away and doing his pilgrimage and went uh to South India, Nityānanda Prabhu was still there preaching his glories in uh Jagannātha Purī-dhām.
But then when Caitanya Mahāprabhu came back and everyone was so happy and everyone was doing kīrtana and so happy that he returned, the whole Purī you know, became followers and everyone was celebrating his return to Jagannātha Purī.
A few days later after that called Nityānanda Prabhu in a secluded place. Called called Nityānanda Prabhu in a secluded place, two of them. Caitanya Mahāprabhu called Nityānanda.
And he said to Nityānanda Prabhu, uh basically he said to him get out of here and Nittananda Bruka Dekatini Wallim He said to him
that it's very nice that you're here but you have to go to Bengal. Mahaprabhu make an athleticum Bangla Tiligang.
And he said that in Bengal a few nice people, intelligent people, pure hearted people accepted this bhakti and this movement of Hare Kṛṣṇa Mahā-mantra.
But most of the people there still into his tantric practice and all this tamasic practice and most of the people they still remain Śāktas.
Itara Jaratitara Shakta Most of the people are very fallen and they are very proud in the heart because they are very rich. Most of the people are engaged in very degraded practice of uh animal
sacrifice and uh and so many people are mayāvādīs or Buddhists. Oh, koche, poshuboli, dice uh we. he said to him, it's only you who can teach them Bhakti, nobody else. He said I couldn't do it. No, no.
Caitanya Mahāprabhu said I couldn't do it. I could only convert few people into the pass of bhakti. But you you can do it, please do it, go there.
And even though Nityānanda Prabhu, he loved Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu more than his life. Titanoma Prabhu King Nitananda Prabhupada Pranattiku Odi Balobashten still
Nityānanda Prabhu immediately said yes Prabhu, your ājñā ādeśa or whatever. Tamaradesh. Tamara Hadesh.
Transformation of Bengal through devotional service
He immediately said yes I will do and he immediately set out for this journey to Bengal. And just within a few years, uh while preaching in Bengal, he converted the whole Bengal, East Bengal and West Bengal, into bhaktas.
And he said, I'm doing it on behalf of Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Soon he will come back here, and then at that time you will have to do something, you will have to receive him properly.
Millions and millions people became the followers, became in Bengal, became the followers of Śrī Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Just within f four or five years, you know, the whole Bengal became
bhaktas of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu because of Nityānanda. Itananda Prabhupur Prachary Charpad Vasir Vitare Banglar Bashirhagi Chaitana Mahaprabhu Sharam Garashugola.
And when Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu came back to Bengal manifesting his amazing love of Godhead everyone everyone appreciated him and everyone was chanting the holy name so Uh everyone was appreciating Shadow.
And feeling ecstatic love, Premabhakti is a very good thing bhakti ashadhankhol So So this is what Nityānanda Prabhu did. And uh this wave of bhakti is still very much present in Bengal. And Akadaiva.
In the village of in the village of Saptagram he converted two thousand five hundred Buddhist monks and nuns into pure Bhaktis. Saptagram. Saptagram a two thousand. Doha zay tiny uh So many other people.
In any case what I wanted to speak a little bit about his total complete dedication. There was not a tinge of rivalry within his heart. He always considered himself as a servant of the Supreme Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
And he was always teaching that there is only one bliss and only one happiness in this world. That's the bliss and happiness of service to the Supreme Lord. Shuk Sita Akmatro Bhagavanas Shivati Ashtipar.
And you can experience this Supreme Bliss by serving the Supreme Lord, by chanting his holy name Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma Hare Hare.
Lakha And you can also experience this supreme bliss by preaching the glories of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Mayo ey anandon bapata bari. So that was Nityānanda Prabhu. Thank you very much. Hare Krishna. Hare Krishna. Aqui!
