Vasudeva carries baby Krishna

0:00Koile Gat. Koile in Hindi means anyone come and take. So Vasudeva Mahārāja during this Janmāṣṭami Līlā on this side of Yamunā in Mathurā.

0:18He came here when the prison cell was open and the doors were open and the chains released him and he came right here. In complete anxiety we see that Ananta was holding umbrella over him and his child.

0:39There was a lot of rain at that time, but not a single drop of rain fell on Vasudeva Mahārāja and Krishna. And he came here and it was very dark because the whole sky was clouded and was raining, sometimes was lightning.

1:04So from inside Krishna was guiding him.

Vasudeva anxiety at Yamuna

1:08And at the same time he was in this little basket as a little baby, sometimes sleeping, sometimes crying a little bit.

1:19So he came here and he saw Yamunā and Yamunā was really turbulent. There was high waves and there was a lot of wind blowing. So he didn't know how to cross Yamunā.

1:34He knew that there is some uh way, some little uh passageways through Yamuna.

1:42He came and he uh because of anxiety about his son he started crying koile koile let somebody come and take my child and safely bring him there so that's

1:57the place of Vasudeva Mahārāja anxiety caused by his love to Krishna. So that's that's the idea. He was feeling more anxiety about Krishna than about himself and about anyone else.

2:14He didn't care about Kamsa, he didn't care what's going to happen. He was only concerned about little baby Krishna.

2:22So he was loudly crying Koile Koile Koile, take and in this way you know he was ready to give his son to anyone uh uh provided he would save his son from all these calamities.

2:42So that's that's the idea and that's the mood, that's the Baba in this particular place, Koile Ghāṭ.
