Background of Raskhan

So we are in Raskhan Samadhi. And Raskhan was from a very rich family. He was Muslim. He was born in Delhi. And he was from the Patan family. He was a big landholder. And once he came to a little shop to buy pan.

And in this little shop he saw a picture of Krishna. Krishna was standing there barefoot and smiling. And Raskhan, he loved this picture so much, but he didn't know. He is a Muslim.

He didn't know who is Krishna, why he's there. So he asked the shopkeeper why he's not wearing the shoes. Such a nice cute boy, and he doesn't wear the shoes. What's wrong with you?

He said, just get out of here. Get out of here. But he was insisting, insisting, insisting. Uh, he said, if you're so concerned about his feet and shoes, just bring the shoes here. Get out of here.

So next day he comes very innocently with the shoes in his hands. And he is uh you know asking the shopkeeper, where is the boy? Give me the boy, I brought him shoes.

And as shopkeeper, he became very bewildered and he didn't know what to say and he said, You just ask somebody else. I don't know where this boy is, you ask somebody else.

So from that day on, he started going around and asking everyone, do you know where is this boy? Have you seen this boy?

He's very nice, he has big eyes, he has peacock feather, and he's completely naked, and he has no shoes, you know.

Krishna guiding Raskhan to Vrindavan

I have shoes for him, please tell him. So he's going all over the place asking for Krishna, where is this boy? Where is this boy? And Rādhārāṇī is telling Krishna, you know, he's your devotee. He's looking for you.

Why are you so cruel? Why are you not showing yourself to him? And Krishna said, okay, sorry, I I didn't didn't think about it. So he comes to Raskhan in the form of a small brāhmaṇa boy.

And Raskhan, he asks everyone, where is this boy? Where is this boy? He asked this boy, have you seen this boy? This is a very beautiful boy. And Rasakhan, this boy, he smiles and he says, yes, yes, I know this boy.

Krishna himself says, I know this boy. He lives in Vrindavan. You go to Vrindavan. So Rasakan immediately he left everything, only took the shoes.

And he came to Vrindavan because he's Muslim, nobody allows him into the temple, nobody allows him to do anything. So he wanders in Vrindavan, asking everyone where is this boy, where is this boy?

Nobody's this everyone thinks he's crazy. And ultimately he sleeps somewhere in the dust of Vrindavan. And that was What?

Raskhan meeting Krishna in Vrindavan

Oh so he's uh and uh next morning the first thing Krishna comes to him and he sees this boy.

Krishna comes in this form which he saw in the picture and uh he sees this boy and he's so amazed and he said, Oh finally I found you, I was looking for you for so long.

And then he sees that Krishna's. some blood is there. And he says, you know, I brought your shoes. Please take these shoes. Why you didn't ask me before? Why why did you why did you uh go bare feet, barefoot.

So Krishna takes the shoes and says, blesses him and uh and then he says actually uh you know why I came with this pricked feed because I came for so far from Goku. Actually I'm living in Goku. We are in Goku now.

And Rasakan uh while hearing this he said okay I'll come to you. You came to me from Gokul, I will come to you to Gokul.

And uh he came to Gokul and he stayed in Gokul and he died in Gokul and his whole life he dedicated writing different poems about Krishna.

So that's he became one of the greatest devotees or poets of Raj and still people sing his songs about Krishna. So that's his samadhi.
