Three Types of Bhakti

This lecture series examines the technical classifications of devotional service as presented in the Bhakti Sandarbha and the teachings of Kapiladeva. The presentations were given in Almaty during 2003. The content analyzes the distinctions between aropa-siddha, sanga-siddha, and svarupa-siddha bhakti to help practitioners identify how underlying motivations and the material modes of nature influence the purity of their practice. By exploring the structural categories of devotion and the internal blockages caused by selfish intent, these discourses provide a framework for transitioning from mixed service toward unalloyed dedication.
