Rules for proper japa meditation

So again I'm very grateful to uh Morali Shamprabul to be with all of you on this morning and uh we are uh talking about the signs of signs of japa meditation.

Last time we studied very important sloga from the tantras, which explained how to chant uh properly. Ponadada Namam the yapri jabam monam slo to mki manslokam patto. Manaksamharanam so cham momonunam mantra thachintanam

Aviagratvam Anir Vedam Aviagratvam Japasam Pati Heatavaham. So there are uh certain rules how we should chant japa. And so on. So that it would bring the maximum effect.

Any chanting of the holy name is beneficial but because it's a very exact science we should follow the rules of this process.

In the Jabamo Monde, Unja Balankur And one of the rules which we discussed last time was monam which means silence. Of course.

In one sense, external silence is not difficult to maintain. When we chant japa, we just chant japa, we don't talk with other people.

But it's very difficult to maintain internal silence because even while we're chanting we're always talking. Somebody is sitting here and always talks even when we are chanting the holy name.

The scientists who study the brain they say its neurons talk with each other.

Literally what's happening, different neurons they have axons, the the you know the kind of uh angs or uh limbs of their body and they always you know get in contact with some other axon and you know they are socialize within the brain.

So even when we maintain the external silence and not talk with other people, the socialization is going on within our head.

Therefore we should instead of how to solve this problem so this verse which we chanted, this sloka which we chanted gives the solution.

In the Prachyapri Tikradin Pakadaglama, from Adikothe or the solution given in this sloka is that Mantartha Chintanam. Instead of thinking of so many other things we should concentrate on the meaning of the mantra.

In the sloga menasoludana, Palavashinglayosana Panavat in the mantra toda puro janapanasoludan and actually Vedic scriptures they all describe the nature of God whose name we chant.

Mantratta chintanam means uh to know uh whom we are addressing while chanting Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare Mantraka Chintanamna Namayara Mahamadram Salambode Namayara Vande Kuprongrade Sindikanu.

Who is Hari or Hara? Who is Krishna and who is Rama? Yare Hara, Yara Hari, Yara Rama, Yara Krishna.

Law of meditation and consciousness transfer

And we should be very exact, we should know very well who are these personalities, what is their mood and why we're approaching them while chanting this Mahamantra.

It's very important because uh Krishna explains in Bhagavad-gītā this uh how this nature uh how by chanting we can change our nature.

The principle of sadhana or the principle of meditation, the main law of meditation is that we become the same to what we meditate. We obtain the same nature of the object of our meditation.

Śrī Kṛṣṇa explains this very beautifully in Bhagavad-gītā. In the eighth chapter of Bhagavad-gītā there is a very important sloka which we all should very clearly understand.

Yam yam vapismarambhavam tjadjatan te kalevaram tam tame vaiti kontaya sadatat bhava bhavitaha Sri Krishna

says that uh whatever state of being uh whatever bhava we have at the moment of death at the moment when we leave our body kalevaram when we are living at the very end ante kalevaram this kalevaram this covering

of our body, the same state we will obtain Tam Tam Eva Iti Kauntea Worover Tana Wodalay Budam Bodi Yende Nele and the Inraro Ayam and Re and Nile Avar Arainra.

He stresses this, you will definitely obtain the same nature of what you are thinking at the moment of death.

But he also says that you will not obtain something um wish uh something which you just wish to obtain, you should actually work to obtain certain state of being at the moment of death. Sadatat Bhava Bhavitaha.

You should remember something constantly. This is the only way to obtain it at the moment of death.

Sadat Baba Babi Taka, Adakonde, Moyerchi, Tibramana, Moyer Chi Rum, andamari Panamoda, and then alay are iron solid or motel graph.

It's not that whimsically, you know, we know now I should remember Krishna at the moment of death and here you are, you know, you are dying and then you will remember Krishna. No, you will not remember Krishna if you didn't remember him during the lifetime.

adonde and Marja var Kusarjetika borda the

literal meaning of this word sadatat Baba Bavita means you should be soft you should basically uh in uh y you you should this whole bhava uh which you want to obtain in the next life should uh become your nature even in this life.

Add the the Sadatat Baba Bhavitaha It goando Udmea on the Artamedana Nama Adalavandu Mulakamulukam Muri.

People who uh experience near death near death experience when you know and then they come back when they have some clinical deaths.

So this people who have near death experience explain that during this period of living the body their whole life comes in front of their eyes.

My Yerkane Kiwi Patrocrom, Yar on the Erakratkumunari, and Earl at the experience along it. I'm looking walking on the Ennapanlo, other now or Padamari Balun Solid Kelvi Potogrom.

The most important events of our life come like a movie and we remember everything. And then all these events they come as some image, and this image is actually the image of our next life.

Therefore Krishna in this sloka he says Yam Yam Vapismaram Bhavam. Bhawam is coming from the Sanskrit uh root bhu, which means the state of being the sloka yam

yam Babi Smart Bawam Baum Enger the Vardana Poo Abdingra or a Samaskara Solar Burde Adi English letter state of being at the end Lai Lai Chrome Abdinger puricul.

The same uh word sometimes is it uh is translated as emotion, bhava. And the bhava magit sala samyam bhavan salade had emotions at the Namulota Bhava Negal Avengers Modi.

Infusing emotions and gratitude into chanting

So it basically means that uh uh you will obtain uh next life your next life will be determined uh of uh you know b by what you are investing your emotions in. So

therefore, while chanting, we should remember about God, but not in a very dry way. We should invest some emotions in this remembering process.

It basically means that our meditation on the uh on God while we're chanting should not be mechanical, it should not be dry, it should be full of uh at least gratitude. At least we can gratitude,

at least we our kurutadh lam Some emotional

connection with God should be established while we are chanting this Hare Krishna mantra. Namaroda Samandamande in the Mahaman Tasalambodhurdi Partik. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu while he was traveling in Tamil Nadu actually in Sri Rangam there was a little episode in his life which is very very instructive.

Sidangatla, our Barambhodi Narandadav, Mukima, Negalchi Rakge.

In the temple of Ranganatha, he saw one brāhmaṇa who every day was chanting ślokas of Bhagavad-gītā. And he was not chanting them properly, he was chanting with heavy Tamil accent and he was not pronouncing them properly and accent, and you know he was not very good reader. But at the same time he was always crying while chanting the shlokas.

And one morning observing this process Caitanya Mahāprabhu approached this brāhmaṇa and he asked him, you know, why you're crying by chanting these Bhagavad-gītā ślokas.

And this brāhmaṇa said, actually I am not very literate, I'm quite ignorant, I don't know Sanskrit, but my guru told me to chant every day all seven hundred ślokas of Bhagavad-gītā, and I'm doing this because this is his order.

And really I don't understand the meaning of all the ślokas, but the only thing which I always remember is this image of Krishna who is driving the chariot of Arjuna. Yana kin the strong Lara Artana Gunukurium.

Yana kepome Arjuna Terra word in the Krishna make an He is God Himself, but He is serving as a menial servant, as a driver of His devotee. Or sadarna driver I pretty well.

I've been sorted in a g manuscular poems in the neighborhood. Driver is not a very honorable job. You know it's not a credit on the Urono Perea Nala Romadium Apriuna Carey.

And he says He's God Himself, but He is doing this very menial service to his devotee.

During the war in Kurukshetra, Krishna was not only driving Arjuna's horses, Arjuna's chariot, he was even washing the horses, he was serving not Arjuna, but Arjuna's horses.

Arjuna K Vandi water the Matullah or a driver And

Meditating on divine willingness to serve

And he says that whenever I remember this, I start crying because And uh and then when Caitanya Mahāprabhu heard this, he embraced this brāhmaṇa and he said you're the most literate person I've ever seen. You are the best knower of Bhagavad-gītā because you understood the essence of Bhagavad-gītā. Because there is some emotional connection between you and Krishna.

So basically the point here is that uh when we chant Hare Krishna we should remember who is God and how great He is and at the same time how He is how His greatness manifests as His desire to serve his devotees.

The whole Rāmāyaṇa is about the qualities of Lord Rāma. Ramayana Mulukamulka Rama Bhapan Ramachandra Roda Gunangala Pati Nerambirik And the tenth canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is describing in great details uh pastimes of Lord Krishna.

So while chanting the holy name, we should definitely remember who is this Rama, who is this Krishna, who is this Hari uh who are the names which we chant?

Otherwise while changing about uh uh while changing the holy name we will remember about our auntie or uncle or you know daughter or granddaughter and then we will become like auntie or uncle or granddaughter.

Namakon de Haleo, Iladis, Matras on the Tarang, Dangao, Il Mam Maman At the Mario Zona, One Sig and Amaya, Awangariu.

Developing nature of meditated objects

The point again is that we become like the object of our meditation. People who are serving dogs. I've seen it, you know, there are in India all dogs are the same, but in the West you have different varieties of dogs.

Like this bulldog or you know the different different shapes uh of dogs are there in the West. And I've noticed, you know, while people are walking with their dogs that they become very similar like their dogs.

Because they always meditate about the dog. And therefore Śrīla Prabhupāda, he was very emphatic about this.

He said that people in the West they think about their dog uh whereas uh actually they should think about God not dog.

You know, we should very clearly remember this principle, principle of sadhana. We become what we meditate upon. Like this.

And it's very very important to start meditating on God right now because uh we have so much uh garbage within our brain already. We have so many emotionally charged remembrances which are there, and there is a good chance that instead of remembering about God at the moment of death, we will remember about something else.

Namak Mamanasukula Ipamande Unerchi Mayamana Pala Vidamana Nyava Hangal Padrik. There is also Pandapasang Lora Rumba Una There is also Paradiki. Okay.

There is also a very great scientific principle behind this idea that we should be emotionally connected with God. again.

You know, among different remembrances which we have, which we stored in our brain, the there are deeper remembrances and there are remembrances which are more shallow.

Nama Manusucula Panjerka Narenawangle Saladomba Arma Panja Salado Punjo Lesa Padingerke.

We know that some things uh happen with us and we forget it very quickly. Sorry, Maras. Uh we know that something happens with us and we forget it very quickly.

And uh there are some other things which happened many, many years back, and we still very vividly remember them.

Like sometimes people very vividly remember some emotional trauma which they experienced during their childhood.

Role of emotion in memory retention

What determines the depths of our remembrance. So according to the science we remember those things which are uh emotionally uh which are emotionally surcharged.

Otherwise, if there is no emotions involved in uh in some uh or connected with some event of our life, we will very quickly forget it.

So therefore if we want to remember about God and the moment of death, which will be a very difficult moment and uh very difficult test. We should already now uh learn how to involve emotions.

In this uh picture which we see in front of us there is a story of Maharaja Bharata, a great devotee. He was the emperor. Emperor.

He was the Emperor of the whole world, he was the son of Rishabhadev, great saint and incarnation of God. Our onde Papan Rishabade Rodapaya Raja Burake Raja Varadare Nele Burubakhtar and then he became a

great yogi, he went to forest, he was meditating very intensely. But he got emotionally attached to a little baby deer.

And this connection became so strong that at the moment of death he couldn't think about anything else but about the baby deer. And the Unachipu Romana Bandam Romajasya and Variime Yosikimodila the Manatavara.

And therefore in the next life he became a deer. Of course, he became a very special deer because he remembered his past life and he started performing austerities as a deer. But nevertheless, he became a dear.

You know now before people in India they didn't keep their dogs in their flats, but now it's becoming also fashionable. I see more and more people in India working with their dogs.

It's not so difficult to suggest or imagine whom they will become in the next life. I heard the story. I don't know if it's correct. Then when Jawaharlal Nehru died, one astrologer said whom he will become in his next life.

Yes, so this astrologer he said that he will become a dog in Sweden.

Importance of reading sacred scriptures

You know, whatever it is, but uh uh you know m maybe dogs in Sweden they have very good life, but still we don't want to become dogs even in Sweden. We don't want to develop the same nature as dog, we want to develop the nature of God, godly nature.

And therefore it's very, very important not only to chant, but also to read. Read Rāmāyaṇa, read Mahābhārata, and read Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam first and foremost. [snip] Can you open up to our questions, Marat? Yes. Yes.

Second slogan. Second slogan we can deal next. Yeah, we can deal next. Next time. Chat anarchy. It came on the first uh perhaps a covering it.

Maharaja, yes, uh we understood that uh uh we should always think about uh our Krishna. But on the other hand, does it uh mean that we should not care for the animals? No, we should serve everyone.

There's no problem if we keep animals, but we should not, we should try to develop our attachment to Krishna and serve everyone uh understanding that they are also parts and parcels of Krishna.

You know there's there's no problem in this. But you know but of course dogs are not very clean. They are not very suited, they are muchy. Therefore it's not advisable. But if you have, it's not a problem.

It's not a big deal. Yeah, we should not have emotional attachment. Our emotions we should keep for God. Thank you. We can, I love the paramātmā to care, and then

Preparing the mind for peaceful chanting

[snip] Can we chant when our brain is speaking too much? How to stop it? Um well uh just try to think about something connected with God.

Try to first of all, my advice is uh before going to bed, you actually should prepare yourself for chanting in the evening of the previous day. Before going to bed, read something or watch some devotional movie, and in this way uh you will already be more prepared to think about God while you are chanting.

[snip]

Otherwise, what happens, you know, in the evening we uh do some nonsense or watch some nonsense movies and then you know it is processed by our brain during the night and the brain is not really peaceful. So you should try to make your brain peaceful in the evening before.

Stop all these frantic activities, you know, calm down, read something which is very peaceful, you know, which will bring peaceful mood. And then uh in the morning the brain will become little more calm than usually.

Bahana Pati, Manasamaidi Patun. Otherware where other wishing manasa but decided to previshing area paritona, two mother in the lama tungi, cardal and dicum moto, manasamidi lama in the kum.

And then if the brain uh if the mind went somewhere, just bring him back again and again and again. That's not a problem. Just learn this habit how to bring mind back on the subject matter of the chanting.

Thank you so much Maharaj. Very nice question. I thought of selling that only.

Every day I'm being night Bhagavatam Bhakadam and chanting and I am chanting the uh thing in the morning, so I have full concentration on the chant.

That's why I want to tell that one and thank you so much how to chant you told so many things

and um uh one thing I have more attached to animals and that only you everyone are saying you should not attach to dogs but that even in baby class also told like this but I'm so much attached to animals and God also and can we continue that

or nah ningai Tamulha shall shall translate And the concentration of the Bagback or the Padicita night low. Even Solakoda Cow Navarra Valida hospital, of full cows later,

Krishna, full of animals full of the Muslim area, El Daily Actanamada cold rang and the same thing, India like the Ritha Matangranga Kishna Purik may even sip on the Puriko, Ela goi pakatli at a madranga, um animal mana, umpa atashman to canala, are the irkakurans or rather than kashama the velaka solar.

Recognizing divine qualities in animals

She little bit ex explain extra about the cows, how the cows are killed by so many people. When she she feels sees a cow, she feels so sorry for them.

So Prabhupada once explained that you know by talking about the verse of Bhagavad Gita where Krishna says I am the taste in water.

That if somebody who is attached to wine remembers while being attached to wine that the taste to which he is attached is Krishna himself, that's okay.

Then he will remember about Krishna. If we understand that you know those qualities in the animals to which we are attached ultimately coming from God and while seeing them we remember about God, then this attachment will be beneficial. Of course, if you're attached to cow, it's naturally because cows are so closely and intimately connected with Krishna, then if you attach to cow it's the best thing because cows are uh dear to Krishna.

Paśūnāṁ gāṁ dayā-yuktaṁ bhajante. Paśu Krishna-priyam-paramā. I know paśu-melā and amara-kṛṣṇa-priyamāṇā or paśu-melā-priya-dārakā-moda, we got a mana.

They have such a peaceful nature and they are willing to serve others. So while meditating about cows, we also will attain a very great benefit.

So if you attach to cows no problem, if you attach to dog, but at least try to remember that all the beautiful qualities of dog you attach to also belong to Krishna. Thank you, thank you, Prabhu. Redamataji, Surya Prabhu.

Hare Krishna Prabhu. Yes. Prabhu, my obeisances unto your lotus feet. Thank you so much. We are just eagerly waiting to meet you, Vignan, because if at all you happen to visit uh India um probably after the lockdown.

Uh my question is uh Prabhu uh the conditioning is so strong because of the past lives because of our uh uh you know uh probably because of the inner desires uh which we are you know carrying it I mean uh uh from the past lives.

So I just wanted to ask how do I reduce uh the conditioning of uh the conditioning process so that you know my um uh so that the chanting uh on um uh chanting of the Lord's names are um you know uh i i you know I have So how do I reduce my condition?

mind and let it primarily be chanting itself helps, but if you combine chanting with also listening how other people speak about Krishna, about Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, that will very greatly help you to concentrate your mind on these subject matters and divert your mind from this mundane uh attachments which we all have.

When we hear somebody who is very emotionally attached to Krishna, uh his emotions also uh they are uh like contagious they come to us.

Yes yes Prabhu because the more I listen to my spiritual masters and the lectures from them so I I do not know you know I immediately start chanting so and my chanting becomes very strong at that point in time after

listening to the Bhagavad-gītā. But I hope I, when I concentrate on the beats I know that I'm concentrating and uh the n the the names of the lords are you know, it's like a tad-avatāra, an immersion into that form of concentrating on the Lord's names.

But I do not know where do I stand in terms of conditioning. Am I eradicating it or am I carrying it forward? I am not able to uh evaluate myself in that regard in

terms of conditioning especially because I do not want my I do not want my conditioning um to disturb my citta, or it becomes a dṛṣṭi and then it becomes a saṁskāra, then again it's it's like a cycle.

So uh I what I followed was I thought okay let me chant more and more. So it becomes uh it gets into my samskara then again it goes uh goes into my thought and then becomes an action.

So I um so I think uh you were given it uh in the right way. Probably I should be listening to more of uh Bhagavad-gītā and more of uh from the Bhagavad-gītā. Hare Krishna Prabhu thank you so much.

You want I'll translate what I will help it. Just one little thing I can add to this.

I am I'm not into any yoga as such uh because I I I probably because too much of yoga is and all that since uh childhood, so I'm not attracted or uh uh I balance myself very well.

I I don't get attached much or entangle myself into this materialistic world by God's grace. Um but uh there is this one thing I always have. The more I chant I feel like uh I I I I do not know how to say it

because since you are Maharaj I just feel like seeing Krishna uh you know it's that crying.

I you know the uh the eagerness for seeing the Lord becomes more and more and I cannot control. I just don't want to come out of the puzzle.

So it means that your conditioning for us because your eagerness to see the Lord becomes more and more, it means that your conditioning becomes less and less, don't worry.

If you have a manish, Krishna Khanda, Adika Pachamana Krishna Sarana, uh If you have a lot of people, you can But Anna Art Nebuchadnezzar Krishna or Pakin lay on the we are so mainly arranged.

He is telling there is everybody is a separate Atma, even animals are separate Atma. So they all have their emotions and we know that when they die they don't get they don't go to Krishna.

Evolution of the soul through species

So what is happening inside them. What is happening inside animals?

Yeah, I mean the there is a process, mechanical process of evolution. Atma has to experience certain things in different bodies, and then ultimately this Atma will develop the human body and human body and human mind will allow them to either degrade themselves again back to the animal state of consciousness or elevate themselves to the higher state of consciousness.

So animals they more or less following the laws of nature, and from one body they develop another body, another body, another body, according to the

strict law of nature, gradually developing their capacity pariṇāma Mareke, Mani the Piravi Varaikum, Mamakuru Murayana, Parinama, Midi Podirake, Advantaka Pro Mani the Peri Lamakala Purda, Melaporda, Amla Pur Tere. And Rajan Po the Mm Brahmadi and Alex.

And Bhagavad Gita 8.6 that was a MM Yadu. I want to hide up to the time of our birth, uh, death birth. We are thinking about what we think that we will become the, that person or what that or whatever creature at the time of next birth, right?

But how to develop that practice of being thinking at the time of, because at the time of deathbed we will be disturbed.

So how to develop, how? That is the end of our birth, right? If you think about Krishna, is it at the end of our rebirth? And second question, that manasa-smaraṇa-sthānam, which, uh, Bhagavad, which shloka

is that? I wasn't... Um, uh, this slokam manasa-smaraṇa-sthānam, it's not from Bhāgavatam, it's from Hari-bhakti-vilāsa, a book by Sanātana Gosvāmī.

And it's originally taken from Mantrārṇava, the book called Mantrārṇava, which explains how to chant mantra. So, if you want, I can send to you this shloka.

As far as this, what you remember during the time of death, it's just, it's very simple. I explained this during the lecture.

You try to develop this bhāva, emotional attachment towards the Lord now, then for sure you will remember about Him in the moment of death. But if you didn't develop it, then it will be very difficult, you're right.

And other, and the shloka, the Hari-bhakti-vilāsa, mantra-karṇava pūjā-śāstra, Hari- bhakti-vilāsa.

We should actually while living in this world we should uh try to connect everything which we see with God because it's all coming from God. So while seeing anything, we should remember about God.

Approaching japa as personal conversation

This is and whatever is happening with us is connected with God, if we develop this understanding of this vision of the Lord, then definitely we will see Him or we will remember about Him in the moment of death.

Actually I used to converse with Krishna all the time from my childhood. Nowadays this chanting, I am doing a lot of chanting, but, uh, I feel, uh, little connection has lost because of the chanting. How is it?

I... I... I suppose we want a basic tariff and a japa on the pro, and the idea of kirtana is everything together. Well, you know, actually you should, uh, consider chanting as you're speaking with God, you're speaking

with Krishna, your conversation with Krishna. Yes, Prabhupāda, actually I used to, uh, like ordinary conversation, no? For each and everything I used to converse. Nowadays I feel a little that connect has gone.

I... I am chanting, I am trying to make, uh, understand me, uh, make my mind understand that I am conversing with Him only, but somehow, uh, it's not I mean I have to practice that I think is it not? Yeah yeah. You chant for two hours a day and then twenty-two hours you can converse with God.

I think it's not.

Then the uh clacks are the chant uh rumba affection in court channel. Now we are in the dogs and rumba fiction or redical and the talks which are radical there and the social killer talks the allow butter the land, and they tenants take a victory and the master three at the south.

Techniques for bringing back wandering mind

At the Pundaw, you know, whatever counseling, other children, you're not the full bit of concentration,

we have to use a debak, and She was having so many dogs and she has to ship the house. The new place they told they cannot you cannot carry the dog. So she left there and within one month the dog died. So then that time onwards she has stopped uh run uh stopped carrying for dogs.

But that is first topic. Second topic is she's telling about uh how the mind is so difficult to bring back. So we have heard so much about Savvanimuni, that story this story, so many stories.

So whether since we are not able to bring the mind back to the Nama, whether we are very very low class devotees or how it is So if you have experience

with dogs, you know how to bring dogs back. When the dog is running, you pull the string and.

You have the leash and the dog is running here, dog is trying there, so you pull the leash and say, you know, come back, come back.

So it's not you know it's uh there's nothing wrong with it in the sense that everyone is in the same condition especially now our mind is so much distracted.

But we should just conscientiously as, soon as we remember, as soon as we notice that our mind is running somewhere, we should just bring him back, no problem.

It's the nature of dog to run and it's the nature or duty of the master of the dog to bring him back. So do it. I think we should stop. I don't know, maybe last question.

Deriving emotional satisfaction from kirtana

But uh sorry this other chant pandra, and the say you put the character and manage fifty one For the illa I for the phone is a good idea her question is previously she was going to temple helping others.

That was very emotionally satisfying. Now she's chanting. She is not feeling the same emotional satisfaction in chanting. So whether you have to do all those things or not to how to get this emotional satisfaction in chanting also.

Yes, Prabhupada, exactly Prabhupada. It's not that easy to get immediately the same emotional satisfaction from chanting, but from kīrtana you can get the emotional satisfaction.

Therefore, in our practice we should have our chanting, individual chanting, when we are uh doing this, you know, meditation on God.

But at the same time we should have kīrtana. Of course now it's a little difficult because of this pandemic and COVID and everything.

But whenever it's possible come for this kīrtana congregational chanting, then the emotional satisfaction will be there and it will help you to connect more closely to God.

Because in kīrtana we are emotionally connected. Kīrtana is surcharged with emotions.

So just you know if you have free time just seeing for yourself also and that will bring some emotions into your relations with the holy name. Okay. Thank you, Prabhupāda. Thank you. So Um

my question is uh Prabhupāda said that uh do the quality of chanting, don't watch movies uh uh but I feel life was also a movie, right?

We we face so many uh situations, incidents and I feel those emotions are dominating uh while chanting what what correctly happened, whether it is in my birthplace or in my family, that keeps coming and coming though I try to suppress it. So how to come out of it?

You will translate that But the question is moving more in there. It's like this. We take everything which is happening with us very seriously and we don't take uh chanting uh seriously enough.

We take something very seriously, our emotions are there because we are taking it very seriously.

Because we understand that this has a very great importance. Taking very seriously means we understand that it has very great importance.

Like for example, if my son is uh studying and uh you know I'm taking it very seriously how he studies, then definitely this will be very emotionally surcharged process.

But if I don't take it seriously, there will be not so much emotions.

If I take it with some healthy detachment uh then there will be not so much emotions in these m things Yeah, I try to take the advice of my teachers because in our classes we are told don't uh go don't take it too seriously and take m attach more seriousness or more importance to chanting. Then it will be more emotionally surcharged. Because you don't take it so seriously the other emotions dominate.

Okay. Uh I'm I'm practicing, I'm trying, telling my mind again and again this is not important, uh that is not uh thing, yeah, I'm trying. Thank you. It's a gradual process, don't worry.

Sorry, any further questions in particular? Ah, pardon? So when shall we start? When w when shall we stop? So we are finishing. It's one hour I think. One-one hour ten minutes we are then.

Thank you, Maharaj, for coming and giving us so much association. I hope so. We'll be continuing every Sunday, ten hours. Um well maybe every other Sunday. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Okay. As much you give, We have that much need.

Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you. Hare Krishna. Thank you.
