Radharani's glorification of Govardhana

0:00I am very happy to see all of you. Before your Govardhana Parikrama. In the tenth canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Rādhārāṇī herself glorifies Govardhana. She says, I am very weak. I am Abala.

0:38Abala means Kamzor, yes. Abala. Abala, Kamzor. And she means that we are very weak. We cannot do anything ourselves. But at the same time we have so many desires within our heart.

1:03So how we can fulfill our desires if we are very weak. Only those who are strong they can fulfill their desires. Or if you are weak, you should ask somebody who is strong to fulfill your desires.

Characteristics of Hari's best servant

1:46He is the strongest and he can fulfill all your desires. How do we know that somebody is very great and very strong? If he serves the strongest, the Supreme Lord. He is Haridasa. He is the servant of the Supreme Lord.

2:19And the Lord is called Hari because He can take away all your miseries, all your sins, all your problems. So if you ask this best servant of Hari to fulfill your desires, he will fulfill all your desires.

Serving Krishna and His associates

5:31Giriraj Govardhan not only serves Krishna but he serves his friends, his cows, everyone who is near Krishna. This is the sign of real servant. Real servant not only serves the master, but also serves everyone who is around his master.

6:11If we want to become servant of Krishna, we first have to become servant of his servants. This is the greatest ideal which Caitanya Mahaprabhu himself established. And in so many ways Giriraj Govardhan serves Krishna.

6:41So because we are weak, our duty is to serve Giriraj Govardhan. And then he will fulfill our desires.

Proper consciousness during Govardhana Parikrama

6:56He fulfills all the desires of Krishna. It's very easy for him to fulfill our tiny petty desires.

7:12Our tradition says that when you go around Govardhan, Govardhan is following you and listening, what you have in your heart, what desires are there. So when you go around Govardhana, please don't think about bad desires.

Purifying the heart through service
