May Vajanik who lekin yeb bodik vijyan, lekin adjatnik vijyan sapsemahatapurna. May is some is Angres Bolunga or uh Radha Pramot Anuvat Karing. So what I want to say is that uh other cultures they have the solutions to the problems but these solutions are very limited. Do you say sanskrito me? Sama saunt samadan he legging overtime simit he because sharere hamari body uh Because our body is temporary. And therefore, everyone in this world is very fearful. The main problem in this world is the fear of death. Darhe or Vrituka Darhay Sabikandi. And this world is very dangerous place. Katarnak. This is a very dangerous place because uh at every step the danger is there and we might die any moment. Maybe we will go to the car and the accident will happen.
And everyone knows this. And even Krishna says in Bhagavad-gītā, Duḥkhālayam aśāśvatam. Krishna Bhagavad-gītā, Duḥkhālayam aśāśvatam. This world is very miserable place. Why?
Because it's aśāśvatam. Anitya. Anitya. It's impermanent. Everything can be finished at any moment. And therefore the main problem is the problem of fear. Every one of us wants to live. It's natural for us.
So in Bhagavad-gītā, Krishna gives the solution, how to live eternally. Bhagavad-gītā is the basis of Vedic culture. And in Bhagavad-gītā starts from this problem when Arjuna is uh in grief.
Bhagavad-gītā śokāc ārjuna duḥkham. And actually Arjun is a representative of all of us. Arjuna ham sabhi ko represent kare. Hamlog sabhi dukhi hain. We all suffering in this world. So many problems are there.
And Krishna in front of him, what is he doing? Krishna unka kya kar rahe? He's smiling. Krishnaṁ hāsrai. Arjuna is...
His gāṇḍīva is falling out, he's trembling and his body is not in good condition, he is very fearful and Krishna is smiling. Therefore, this book which is uh the book of Bhagavan is called Bhagavad Gita. Gita means song.
When we sing, when we are happy, when we are fearful, we are not singing anything. We are only trembling. But when we are happy, we are singing. And Krishna is showing us how we can become happy.
He actually wants us to be happy. And he always wants us to sing. Therefore he gave this Gita Sandesh or Gita Upadesh. And he starts these teachings in Bhagavad Gita stating that you're eternal.
He says that there is nothing to fear. Ātmā is eternal. You cannot kill ātmā. And our share, our body will die anyway. In the very beginning of Bhagavad-gītā, he says a very beautiful thing. Very simple but very beautiful.
Jātasyahi dhruvo mṛtyur, dhruvaṁ janma mṛtasya ca. He says, whoever is uh living now he will die. And uh whoever uh whoever will die, he will live again. Janmānte hy apṛthag-bhāvaḥ.
Tasmād aparihārye 'rthe na tvaṁ śocitum arhasi. Because this is inevitable, why should you grieve? Sooner or later you will die, no doubt about it. But when will you die? You will live again.
And moreover, if you live in a proper life, you will come to me. That's the message of Bhagavad-gītā. Krishna says that those people who leave this world and come to me, they will never come back in this world.
Because with me you will live eternally and you will be happy. The nature of living being and the most natural desire of living being to be happy. But the situation of this world is such that we cannot be happy here.
We cannot be happy, we can be happy for a little while. But ultimately, we cannot be completely happy. But Krishna says that come to me and you will be happy eternally. Play with me.
Understanding the personal nature of God
This is very unique understanding of God. Only in this very culture this understanding is there. That God not only all-powerful, God not only is all-knowing, but God is also all beautiful.
Usually when we speak about God we say he is very powerful, he is very knowledgeable and so on and so forth. But this is not so important. It may be important for us because we live in this world where we are insecure.
But from the God's point of view, what is more important? Beauty is more important. Sundata Bhat Mahatpurne Baganki. Happiness is more important. Līlā is more important.
So this is a very unique understanding of God that God ultimately invites us to take part in His līlā. To become eternally happy. This is our nature, this is the nature of the soul. What children are doing?
Children are always playing. Now they are suffering because they cannot play. They have to sit and listen to this lecture. But they want to play. And actually we all want to play.
We want to smile, we want to laugh, we want to sing, we want to dance. That's the nature. That's the nature of human beings. And here in this world we have to work very hard. For little rice and chapati.
And maybe little ghee over it. But Krishna says, come to me. Krishna-vāla mere pās āo. Krishna says that whoever came to me never came back. Krishna-vāle mere pās jāo, vāpas māyā vich na āo.
Sometimes people go to America from India. They think that America is a very happy land. In America, 48% of people are crazy. They are all depressed. This is not because they are happy.
And you know when people go to America they they then come back to India still. At least for visiting. At least they can. They like American money. But they like their culture.
Because again, there is no more beautiful culture than Vedic culture. Vedic Sanskrit says sundar aur koī sanskriti nahīṁ hai. And therefore all over the world people now are trying to follow Vedic culture.
In America people are doing yoga.
Global influence of Prabhupada and Gita
According to latest information. And this is all Vedic culture.
Śrīla Prabhupāda took this Bhagavad-gītā and brought it all over the world. And he explained the inner message of Bhagavad-gītā. He explained how important this message of Bhagavad-gītā is for us in this day and age.
Even though Bhagavad-gītā was spoken five thousand years back, it's still very relevant for us. Because in Bhagavad-gītā Krishna not only says that you are eternal, that you are soul and you will never die.
But he also shows us the way how to get the real experience that we are eternal and that we are happy.
He shows us the way, this mārga-darśana. He he gives us the practice which we can do so that we not only know theoretically but know practically that I am soul and I never die. And when you get this experience, uh you will uh actually be relieved from fear.
And how to get this experience is actually very simple. Sometimes people say that you know to get this experience that I am soul, I am not the body, you should go into samadhi.
Only when you reach this stage of samadhi they they say you can only understand that you are soul and that you are eternal and it you will never die. But Krishna says no, it's not so difficult.
He says you just listen about me and you remember about me and you will realize this, you will get this experience. The most important message, Bhagavad-gītā ka sandesh, Krishna says it's just two words.
You may not know ślokas from Bhagavad-gītā or whatever, but these two words you can always know. It's the essence of all Bhagavad-gītā, just two words. Manmana means remember about me.
Krishna and if you remember about me all the time, 24 hours a day, you will be free from fear. And you will solve all your problems. And you will never be in anxiety in this term. It's that simple.
So this is the main message of Bhagavad-gītā, Manmana. Please remember about God. Please remember about Krishna. Krishna says, I always remember about you.
Krishna bole itna saral sandesh hai Bhagavad-gītā ka, ki bas mera smaran ki-jīye. But unfortunately you have forgotten me. Our main problem is that we forgot about God. We don't have any other problems.
Any other problem is only because we forget about God. And when we remember about God, purī samasya khatam. So you please uh and what to do to remember
about God, of course, every day we should read Bhagavad-gītā. If we read Bhagavad-gītā every day, then gradually, gradually we will get this experience. I'm not this body and God is there with me.
In Bhagavad-gītā, Arjuna, he didn't go into samādhi after he listened to Bhagavad- gītā. He just listened to Bhagavad-gītā and said all my problems are solved. I don't have any fear anymore.
I am ready to fight for you, I am ready to do whatever you will tell me. Whatever you tell me, I will do it. And he started smiling. So that's the only thing.
Chanting the holy names for happiness
We should listen to Bhagavad-gītā every day and then we will also start smiling all the time. We'll become like Krishna, Krishna hamesha haste hain. So, smiling like Krishna, always muskurati, so this is a very simple method and for this uh we should also change his name. His name is very beautiful and very pleasing to the heart.
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna, Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma, Rāma, Hare Hare. Let's do it again.
Just Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna, Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare, Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma, Rāma, Hare Hare? Look how simple it is. Everyone is smiling now. See, um, before you were not smiling, now you're smiling. Why?
Because this name of God is non-different from God. You translate into Hindi?
So being personal God is not different from his name. We are different from our name, but Lord is not different from his name. He understands Hindi. Anyway, so this is a simple message. Please remember about God.
Please chant Bhagavad-gītā, uh, read Bhagavad-gītā every day and please chant his holy name. This is the way to become happy.
And then you travel all over the world, go to America and preach this message to American people. So that they become little less crazy. That's the best way to solve all our mental problems.
Because actually all our problems are in our mind. We ha we ourselves create our problems. But Krishna helps us to solve our problems. And for this, He sang Bhagavad-gītā 5,000 years back.
And we are very lucky because we can hear the same Bhagavad-gītā which Pūrṇa-puruṣottama Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa Svayaṁ Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa sang five thousand years back. And if we lose this chance, we are most unfortunate.
Our fortune is in our own hands. If we want to become fortunate, we can become fortunate, it's very easy. Just read Bhagavad-gītā and chant Krishna's name and be happy. Hare Krishna.
