And because we are looking for happiness, we try to find happiness, but we think that happiness is possible in this material world in this materials environment so to speak.

The Vedic scripture explained that the living entities in this material world they are like a deer who is running for water in the desert.

Neurological drive behind exotic pleasures
You drink salty water, and for a second you feel that your thirst is quenched, but the next second it becomes even stronger than before.
So the first solution for this and therefore, all these perverted forms of sex they become more and more prominent in the society.

Modern environmental stress and dissatisfaction

And then in this city there are so many crazy people you basically every third or fourth person you meet in the streets is completely crazy, you can see it in his or her behavior.
So because people under so much stress and they experience so much stress, they become less and less happy.
And therefore, the desire to get some sort of relief from this unhappiness and stress is becoming stronger, and therefore they're trying to find some artificial means to get rid of this stress by alcohol, drugs or sex or this LGBT sexual behaviour.
So the first cause of this pandemic of LGBT and drugs and other social problems which we have is the stress of the modern society, stress which everyone experience and unhappiness on the top of general dissatisfaction which people have in this world.
And uh besides that people don't know where to find the real source of happiness and therefore they are looking at it in the wrong place.
So I will explain problem by problem first and then I will give solution in the same order.
Mental confusion and loss of dharma
So the first problem is this general dissatisfaction which everyone feels. The second cause of this problem is the confusion, the mental confusion of people in the modern world.
all know this word dharma. And dharma means nature, the inner nature of a human being. In the Vedic society which was free from all these social evils which modern society has uh the dharma was the most important word.
People from the very young age were educated what Dharma is, what Dharma of a man is, what dharma of a woman is, what dharma of a son is, what dharma of a parent is, so on and so forth.
is the understanding of your nature and understanding of how you act according to this nature, how you should act according to the nature. Human beings are very complicated beings and therefore they tend to be confused.
Animals they act according to their nature, but human beings can act in many different ways. Man can act as woman, woman can act as man, and so many different confusions can be there.
In the Vedic society, this education of what is your nature and how you should behave according to the nature was very very prominent and that would save people from confusion. sifa alami tu ad so to uh sana uh sana.
It's very important for us to establish our identity very firmly.
And when our identity is not very firmly established, it's very difficult to behave properly and it's very difficult to find satisfaction even in this life.

The point is that uh people can behave in many different ways and when they don't know who they are, they don't know how to act.

For society to function properly everyone has to know his or her dharma or duty or the particular role which you're supposed to play in the society.

Identity confusion in modern education

But in the modern society in the modern society what happens uh there's no established norms and rules and people don't know what to do.

I think just think about it. Maybe you will figure out something else. Autonomous massmas and therefore, everyone is confused, and therefore, all this sort of strange behavior is being so much prevalent in the society.
So the first reason is the general dissatisfaction and the stress in the society.
Media promotion of gender ideologies
The second reason is the general confusion of people who don't know their identity. The third reason is cultural reason.

We received the particular body from the nature from God, and instead of acting according to this body, we are trying to change this body, we are trying to change the nature of the body, to pervert the nature.
Spiritual happiness as primary solution
So this is a very deep root of ultimately this problem homosexuality or all this LGBT, all this kind of behavior, is to go against God to change the natural arrangement of God which has given us particular nature.
So as I said, the first the first cause of this problem is the dissatisfaction and the lack of understanding how human being can become happy.
The first solution, solution to this problem is uh to educate people that the happiness uh is inside the soul, that the happiness is the inner nature of our consciousness.
Spiritual people who are in contact with their inner spiritual nature they're completely happy. They don't need all this LGBT to become happy.
Uh spiritual that is the lambi rinya but paharus mut can uh be free that's but Sex is a very important function of a human being, no doubt about it.
But the enjoyment which is coming from the sex is only byproduct of the sexual relationship, the main purpose of sex is procreation.

Like purpose of eating is to become healthy and to become you know strong, but uh enjoyment is just the byproduct of eating, natural byproduct of eating. But if we misuse eating and start eating for the enjoyment not to become healthy, then the result will be completely different.
Some people eat to live, other people live to eat.
In the same way, uh sex is for procreation when the sex becomes the purpose in itself and it becomes something self-I don't know whatever how you call it when it becomes the purpose in itself sexy
too much that the journey is dealy a to think about sexuality. And now this is the idea which is being promoted in all kinds of literature and all kinds of movies and everywhere else just to make people crazy.
And the point again is that uh you're not becoming more happy by having sex, you're becoming less happy because it doesn't give you ultimate satisfaction satisfaction for your soul.

Krishna says in Bhagavad-gītā, aśāntasya kutah sukham. Where is the question of happiness if there is no peace?
But if you are always busy looking for sex and more sex and perverted sex and this sex and that sex, then you will never be peaceful.
You will be more and more disturbed and you will take this disturbance as and because of your disturb, you will look for more happiness and more sex and you will be even more disturbed.
Differentiating passion and goodness in happiness
So the first solution is to tell uh you can find happiness if you are peaceful. In Bhagavad-gītā, there is a very important point which everyone has to understand. Krishna explains three kinds of happiness.
And he said for us it's more important two kinds of them he said that there is happiness in the mode of passion Something brings you immediate happiness and this is the happiness in Rajagun in Passion, but then the result is the poison you become even more unhappy than before.
You drink some I don't know what you drink in Bali palm wine. Palm wine. Whatever. You drink, you immediately become happy, but then after that you become less happy than before that.
In Bali it's Ara, in Russia it's vodka and in America it's whiskey.
But you become happy but after that you become less happy than before and, then you have to drink more and more and more, and ultimately you become completely destroyed.
So Krishna says if something brings you immediate happiness, then the result will be more unhappiness at the end. In the beginning it's like nectar, at the end it's like poison.
But he says there is another kind of happiness, which is happiness in sattva-guṇa, in goodness. In the beginning it's like poison, but at the end it's like nectar.
In the beginning you may not like it immediately, but then at the end you feel oh it's very good. It's and the happiness which you get at the end is very lasting.
So to educate people then we should not try to immediately gratify our senses but try to pay some price for the lasting satisfaction at the end that's very important point.
Happiness is a very valuable thing, but we have to be ready to pay the price to get this valuable thing. We should not try to get it cheaply.
Re-establishing dharma through education
So to give this education and to give the experience to children, to little children, how ultimately after paying some price which may be a little heavy, they become very happy at the end is very important.
And then regarding the confusion which modern society implants in people, we have to again educate children in a very strong way, what is their nature according to their sex, gender, according to their position and the society and everything else.
To explain, to come back to this concept of Dharma. This education in Dharma will really help people to become productive and happy members of the society.
You know, everyone has his dharma, his nature, and he has to act according to this nature.
